Deccan was represented by Sai Krishnamurthi and Ramki Sundaram, who confidently demonstrated Deccan's tools to many prospective contacts like the Los Angeles County Fire Department, Toronto Fire Department, Tulsa Public Safety Communications, Bellevue/Eastside Regional 911 Communications Center and many more.

ud to welcome on board its 102nd and 103rd clients - Union Township, Ohio and E-COMM, British Columbia.With the procurement of CAD Analyst, ADAM, LiveMUM and BARB, Union Township joined the Deccan family in August 2007. Deccan extends a warm welcome to Chief Stanley Deimling, Asst. Chief Jeff Jackson and the entire department committed very publicly to providing the best possible service coverage to Clermont County.
Deccan is happy to welcome E-COMM, emergency communications centre for southwest British Columbia, Canada, who also joint the Deccan family in August 2007. E-COMM procured Deccan's Live Move-Up Module and joint the growing Canadian client base.
In Aug 2007, Deccan also enjoyed significant linear expansions. Edmonton Fire Rescue Services (Alberta, CA) and British Columbia Ambulance Services (British Columbia, CA), Deccan's existing clients secured LiveMUM and expanded their portfolio to include CAD Analyst, ADAM and LiveMUM applications.

Gateway Consulting Project
Chief Len Garis, Fire Chief of Surry Fire Service
(British Columbia, CA) has been a long standing client
of Deccan International. Chief Garis along with Chief Livesey’s,
visited Deccan offices recently to discuss
developments on the on-going Gateway consulting project.
Interviewer: Please explain the scope and objective of
the consultancy project?
Chief
Garis:
The main focus of the Gateway project is the relocation
of a station to a new location to improve or match
current performance standards. Deccan’s ADAM is being
implemented for this purpose. Unlike in other situations
where ADAM uses an existing road network, such
information is not available for use in this case. The
proposed candidate locations for the new station are in
planned new developments. ADAM is therefore using future
planned street networks to model scenarios. To ensure
accuracy, Deccan’s team worked with the planning
department and engineers to confirm the planned road
network and to verify ADAM models. Deccan team also
developed a new utility called scenario analyst
that allows scoring/weighing of scenarios based
on criteria as required by the user. This scoring
mechanism allows the user to make more informed
decisions and rank the strategic deployments by
specified criteria.

Employee Appreciation Awards aka Fox Awards
Fox Awards, an employee
appreciation award night, was conducted on Friday Aug 10,
2007 at the beautiful ocean-front residence of Latha and Raj
Nagaraj. Set up as a Mexican Fiesta, the award night
included zesty Mexican food, an endless margarita bar, and
soothing melody by a Flamingo guitarist.
Employees were recognized for their outstanding efforts during the recently concluded users conference in Las Vegas, with special recognition of Cherry Shivaratri, Marketing Manager, for her role in organizing the conference. Ramki Sundaram, Mandar Purohit and Leo Huang were among others that received kudos for their diligence and hard work during the second quarter of 2007.
