An extraordinary experience,
Deccan’s 11th Annual Conference was a one-time sojourn outside
of San Diego, to the “Wild and Western” Las Vegas! Having chosen the most
exclusive spot on the Las Vegas “strip”, we prepared ourselves for a
memorable experience, and surely enough, the experience was truly
unforgettable!
Beyond the gracious hospitality and the exclusive setting at the Bellagio, the conference offered its 65+ attendees an ideal forum to share and exchange their knowledge and experiences. The highlight of the conference was the “Making the most of your Deccan investment” session, where attendees explicitly discussed the many benefits of Deccan tools and suggested productive improvements and upgrades to the tools. Well-received by attendees, this session opened many avenues and projects that can be explored using Deccan tools. Deccan’s newest tool DiVA (Dispatch Validator) took center stage on Thursday, July 12th. An ideal session for Communication Centers transitioning from run-card based CADs to AVL-based CADs, DiVa was received as an indispensable dispatch validating tool for day-to-day Comm. Center operations. Raj verified the intuitive benefits with a demonstration of DiVa in-use at Contra Costa County Fire Protection District. For more information on DiVa, please visit our website at www.deccanintl.com. For pricing and procurement information, please contact sales@deccanintl.com. Deccan project managers were in demand yet again! The popular one-on-one sessions kept Deccan project management busy, as they worked diligently to resolve issues, demonstrate and configure tools to department-specific needs. The project management team continues to work post-conference close out on the issues discussed at the UGC. Please contact the manager of the team – Sai Krishnamurthi at saik@deccanintl.com for additional appointments with the project managers.
Thank you, Chief Campbell, Las Vegas Fire Department, for graciously accepting to address our gathering. We were fortunate to have you represent the host city, and hope to reestablish and continue our partnership in the industry.
Our client presenters Dave Simms from Prince William County, Lt. Mangubat and John Treanor from Chesapeake Fire Department, and Chief Lantz and Ken Reese from REDCOM presented insightful sessions on CAD Analyst, BARB and LiveMUM.
