CLIENT TESTIMONIALS

“CAD Analyst is the only intuitive tool that presents graphically persuasive evidence of the department’s performance. When Fire Chiefs need monies to secure equipment and redistribute resources, CAD Analyst provides persuasive reports for both equipment and personnel resources.” - Chief Roy Hamlin, City of Miami Fire Rescue Dept.

Users Group Conference 2003

7th Annual Users Group Conference
San Diego, CA
September 25-27, 2003

We are excited to invite you to join us for our 7th Annual User’s Conference at The Hotel del Coronado, San Diego’s 114-year old beautiful historic landmark.

Come enjoy the beaches, wonderful weather, and the rich and colorful heritage San Diego has to offer…and also take advantage of this opportunity to network with other professionals in your field.

We will be offering two (2) Training Sessions to help you better understand our products and applications.

Session 1: Chief Sessions (½ day training)
Thursday, September 25th
Fee: $350.00
This session will emphasize how to use the applications as a decision making tool.

Session 2: Analyst Sessions (Full day training)
Thursday, September 25th
Fee: $500.00
This session will be covering in depth, the features and functionalities of the applications to help analysts who will be using the tools on a more frequent basis
.

Both days feature a number of leading representatives in the field as guest speakers.

Past subjects have included:

  • Identifying the Need for a New Battalion and Making a Case for It
  • Standards of Cover Issues -- case studies
  • NFPA 1710 -- recent developments
  • New Approaches to Consolidated Fire/EMS Dispatching
  • Visualization of Service Delivery for Policy Makers
  • Applying Accreditation Standards
  • How deployment analysis tools can be extended to assist in homeland defense
  • Guide in Selecting Response Time Targets
  • Using ADAM to Evaluate Earth Quake Impact

These User presentations address how the applications have helped specific agencies in meeting their needs. We’ve received tremendously positive feedback from attendees on how helpful it was to listen to others’ use of the applications, which at times has been a catalyst for more creative ways of using the applications in their own agency.
Last year’s presentations were given by the following agencies:
The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire Department, Elk Grove Fire, Surrey Fire, Orlando Fire, Pinellas County Fire, Lancashire Fire Brigade, Orange County Fire Authority, Folsom Fire and Milwaukee Fire.

The list of tentative presenters this year include:
Rochester Fire, Surrey Fire, Edmonton Fire, Seattle Fire, Tualatin Valley Fire, Milwaukee Fire, Orange County Fire Authority, Charlotte Fire, Prince William, Montreal Fire, Folsom Fire, Cobb Fire, and Pinellas Fire.
On the final day there is an upgrade session, where through a democratic voting process, the Chiefs decide on the future direction of the applications. That is, everyone lists the features they would like to see in the applications and once they are all listed, the clients vote in order of priority on the list of features to be added to the applications.

Share the experience and bring your spouse along for a memorable trip. We have a full day of fun planned for our Ladies Program Friday, September 26th, and later that evening we will be providing a two-hour dinner cruise and entertainment aboard the charming and historic William D. Evens for all conference attendees and their spouses. It’s promising to be a fun night!

We have rooms blocked out at the Hotel del Coronado with spectacular views of the ocean and garden. The daily room rates are $221.40 taxes included. The rooms are on first-come-first-serve basis so, please register early to secure your room.

Last year’s list of Attendees included representatives from the following Fire agencies:

Lauderdale Fire, Spokane Fire, Central Kitsap Fire, Rochester Fire, Cincinnati Fire, Surprise Fire, Sacramento Regional Fire/EMS Communication Center, Milwaukee Fire, Edmonton Fire, Huntington Beach Fire, Lancashire Fire Brigade (U.K.) and Cobb Fire.
