CLIENT TESTIMONIALS |

“CAD Analyst is the only intuitive tool that presents graphically persuasive
evidence of the department’s performance. When Fire Chiefs need monies to secure
equipment and redistribute resources, CAD Analyst provides persuasive reports
for both equipment and personnel resources.” - Chief Roy Hamlin, City of
Miami Fire Rescue Dept.

Comm. Center
The principal task for 9-1-1 Communication Center Officers is accurate and timely dispatch of apparatus to respond to ongoing incidents. Not only do dispatchers account for units available within their station, but also generate “pick lists” of all available units that can respond to an incident type from neighboring stations. This process is a tedious task requiring dispatchers to continually update the list for any change in unit status. Deccan’s one-of-a-kind tool, BARB, automates this process to build static run cards within a matter of minutes. In events such as a major disaster, BARB can run up to and over 100s, and sometimes 1000s deep, while including mutual aid stations into the run card order. Not only does BARB save several man hours, but generates precise and error-free pick lists.
In addition to the above enhancement tool, LiveMUM, a real-time tool, assists dispatchers with move-up recommendations in real-time. By listening to live data from the CAD, LiveMUM evaluates changes in unit status and thus determines any holes in coverage area. LiveMUM recommends the most optimal move-up to the dispatcher in order to balance holes in the coverage area. LiveMUM removes the guesswork from move-up decisions and equips dispatchers with a tool that can qualify and validate their decisions before making it in the field.
